Horizon Treadmill Belt Lubricant

Horizon recommends lubricating your treadmill belt every 3 - 6 months or after every 150 miles. They instruct you to spread silicon oil to the entire running deck surface in a zig zag pattern. Important: it must be 100 percent silicon and not have other ingredients mixed in. It comes in oil or spray, but oil usually lasts longer. Horizon will sell you their brand, but they say any 100% silicon treadmill belt lubricant will work.

Sole Treadmill Belt Lubricant

Sole requires that you only lubricate your treadmill belt with Sole brand treadmill belt lubricant. They recommend that you apply the lubricant twice a year as a minimum, depending on how much you use it and how clean it is kept. They warn that anything other than the Sole brand treadmill belt lubricant can destroy the deck surface or belt.
